For the sake of this question, let's assume that I'm stuck using a Windows box as a web server, but am running Apache 2 as my server software (not IIS). Are there built-in networking limitations of Windows XP that will limit the number of Apache connections I can support?
Long question short, is there really a difference running Apache on Windows XP Pro vs. Windows 200x Server -- with 'concurrent connections' being the main concern? Does Windows XP have built-in network-related limitations that would make running Apache on it a poor choice (over other Windows operating systems only)?
No need to throw in Linux or OS X comments here. I already fully agree that those platforms can be better servers. I'm actually a Mac and open-source advocate myself.

No, Apache is definatly the better choice and the XP OS doesn't limit Apache.
