Question about networking.........?

I have two computers in my home, both desk tops, both run windows xp, is networking where i can get pictures and music from the living room computer to the bedroom computer? the living room computer has a wireless router and the bedroom one has a usb thing that picks up the router, if networking is what i'm looking for, please give some details on how to do it, i'm not computer stupid but i'm by no means computer smart.

First both computers must be in the same workgroup.


So go to My COmputer%26gt;right click%26gt;properties and choose a workgroup name. Then do the same on other computer. Reboot them





Next right click the folder you want to share and choose share, do this on both.





Then reboot all and then go to network neighborhood and look for the other computer...
