Hi. I graduated in 2006 from high school, took a year off to explore my options, and since I love being on the computer, I said what the heck, why not make it my living. I live in New Jersey and have visited Pennco Tech in Bristol, PA. I really liked what I heard but the problem is I am a very slow learner, I was in smaller classes in High School and I want to make sure I can learn this. The class will only have 12 kids which is a huge relief but my main concern is that it is only 6 and a half months long. My sisters ex-boyfriend did computers in school (not sure if he did networking like I will) and he took 4 years. How is it that I can learn it all in 6 months compared to 4 years? Also is the demand for jobs high for Computer Networking and troubleshooting? Thanks so much for all of your help.

Reply:Computer Networking is tough field Listen inside of heart and go for it if your heart and mind is telling you. Try Local Community Colleges around NJ or NYC. I suggest Cisco Networking or Linux OS and Microsoft Server OS. Report It
