Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter?

Does anyone know where I could get a used wireless networking adapter for cheap? Also, do you have to use the one made by Microsoft? Can you get a different… cheaper wireless networking adapter that would work for the 360?

Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter?
im not sure but microsoft probably wants you to only buy their brand of stuff but you can check ebay, i bought the microsoft one thats 100$ thats to much for one when a wireless controller only costs 40$
Reply:I would only recommend using the wireless networking adapter that was made by Mircrosoft. I had a friend who purchased a cheap one that was a different brand, plugged it in, and it shorted out his 360. They would not cover it under warranty because third party hardware caused the short. If he would have used the one made by Microsoft, it would have been covered under warranty!
Reply:And how would microsoft know it was another adapter that blew the 360, what a load of crap. The answer is NO, you don't have to use the microsoft one. It's another way for them to rip us off.

You can use any wireless gaming adapter made by belkin, linksys netgear. You want a wireless G type.

I have a 360 and use a belkin F5d7330 wireless gaming adapter. It cost me £25 off ebay although I been telling loads of people on here which mean everyone will be looking and pushing the price up. It took a little time to configure but it works very well with no lag. My router (Netgear) isn't on microsoftst recommended list either.

If you buy a gaming adapter and need a hand to configure it (No different to a router) drop me an email. From what I understand the microsoft adapter isn't just plug and play either.
